How do I change the PIN for my debit card?
Changing your debit card PIN
You can change the PIN for your debit card at any Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest, NatWest International or Isle of Man Bank cash machine. Simply insert your card and follow the on-screen instructions. Please choose your new PIN carefully and don't share it with anyone else.
Forgotten your debit card PIN?
You can order a PIN reminder using Online Banking:
- Log in to Online Banking at www.onlinebanking.natwestinternational.com (opens in a new window)
- Click 'Need help' and speak to one of our advisors.
You can also see your PIN in the Mobile App:
- Log in to the Mobile App
- Select the account, then 'Manage my Card', then 'See PIN'.

Please have your customer number and PIN ready as this will enable your call to be answered faster and more securely. These are the same details you use to log in to online banking. Using your card reader
To be able to use your card reader with your new PIN, you will need to:
- Use your debit card and PIN via a chip and PIN transaction, such as using an ATM or making a purchase, after you have changed the PIN.
