To register online
Most customers can register online by following our step-by-step guide:
- Go to the 'Set up online banking' webpage and select your customer type.
- Enter your banking details – we'll need your name, date of birth, and one of the following:
- Mobile number
- Sort code and account number
- Debit card number and expiry date
If you only have a Cash Management account, enter your full name (including any middle names), date of birth, sort code and account number.
- We’ll show you your unique customer number. Make a note of it as you’ll need it when you log in to online banking, register for the app or when you call us.
- For security, we will send you a one time passcode to the mobile number we hold on file to verify your details. If your mobile number is incorrect, missing or you don't receive a code, you can request for it to be sent by post.
- Go to the NatWest International website and choose ‘Log in’ in the top right-hand corner. Have your activation code to hand.
- After you enter your customer number and verify your activation code, the final step is to choose your memorable PIN and password which you will use to log in. We will never ask you for your full PIN or password after this point.
That's it, you've registered for online banking.
