How do I change my payment limit?

You can choose how much you're able to pay from your personal or business account using the mobile app or Online banking.

To change your payment limit:

1. Log in to Online banking.
2. Select Payments & transfers from the main menu.
3. Select Manage payment limits on the Payments and transfers landing page.
4. Select Amend limit next to the channel you'd like to update.
5. Enter your new limit in multiples of £500, up to £20,000 for personal customers or £50,000 for business customers.
6. Read the fraud warning message and tick the box if you'd like to continue.
7. Select Next.
8. Confirm the new limit using your card reader or mobile app if you've registered for biometrics. You won't need to do this if you're reducing your limit.
9. Your new payment limit will take effect immediately.
