What is Get Cash and how do I use it?

Get Cash is a feature in our mobile banking app that allows you to withdraw money from a cash machine without using your debit card. It’s ideal for situations when you need cash but don’t have your card with you.

 

How to use Get Cash

 

1. Open the mobile banking app and select ‘Get Cash’.
2. Choose the amount you want to withdraw.
3. You’ll receive a secure cash code, valid for 3 hours. You can use the code yourself or send it to a friend or family member via text.
4. Visit a compatible cash machine. Use the ‘Near Me’ feature in the app to find the nearest branch. For Tesco ATMs, visit the Tesco website.
5. At the ATM, press the ‘Enter’ key. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your withdrawal.

If the code expires or is unused, the funds will be returned to your account within 3 to 24 hours.

 

Eligibility requirements

 

To use Get Cash, you must:

• Have an active debit card linked to your account.
• Have at least £10 available in your account.
• Stay within your daily withdrawal limit.
• Ensure your mobile number is up to date in our records.
• Not exceed 2 Get Cash withdrawals in a 24-hour period.
• Stay within the £130 daily Get Cash limit.
• Use a compatible device (Android or iPhone).

Troubleshooting: Request Denied Error

 

You may receive a “Request Denied” message if your account does not have an active debit card.
