How do I send a payment on Pay Your Contacts?
All you need is their mobile phone number.
The person you’re paying must:
- be registered for Pay Your Contacts
- be a customer of NatWest Group (NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank, NatWest International and Isle of Man Bank)
You don’t need to be registered to send money using Pay Your Contacts.
To send a payment using Pay Your Contact, open our app and follow these steps:
- Tap 'Payments'
- Select 'Send money'
- Choose 'Pay Your Contacts'
- Follow the on-screen instructions
Payments usually happen instantly, but sometimes they may take up to 2 hours. If there’s a delay, please get in touch with us.
If you have a joint personal account, both account holders can register for Pay Your Contacts as long as you each register using different mobile numbers.
Available on eligible accounts. You must be aged 16 or over. Limits apply.
