Why can I not use the mobile app on my new Huawei device?
Huawei are no longer using Google Play Store services and have instead launched their own Huawei Mobile Store to provide access to mobile apps and key services on their newer devices.
Currently we do not support the Huawei Mobile Store and its services and therefore customers using the latest Huawei devices (P40, P40 Pro, Mate 20, Mate XS and Honor 30) will not be able to download the latest version of our mobile app.
We are monitoring the situation closely and working with Huawei to find a resolution for our customers. Until we are able to support the new Huawei system, we recommend using online banking. You can still access our mobile banking app as normal using a supported device that is not listed above.
