What is a high balance alert?

The high balance alert is a useful reminder for when your balance goes above a certain level set by you.

We will check your balance each morning at around 6am if your balance is above the amount set by you, the alert will be triggered.

The alert will be sent by text message to the mobile phone number that we have on our records. Depending on network and whether your phone is on, you should receive the alert shortly after 8am on weekdays and 10am on weekends.

Only one alert will be sent when the balance goes above the trigger level you have set. The balance will need to return below the trigger level and then rise above it again for another high balance alert to be triggered.

The easiest way to amend your alert preferences is in the 'Alerts' section of Online Banking. You can also manage your alerts using telephone banking.
