Before you apply, we've outlined the eligibility for the account below, along with our terms and conditions so you can make sure it's the right account for you.

You can apply for a Card Plus account if you are:

  • aged between 11 and 17 years old
  • you can open the account by yourself if you're over 16
  • if you're under 16, a parent or guardian will need to open the account for you
  • you must be permanently resident in Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar or the Isle of Man
  • applicants from Gibraltar must also be an existing customer.
