Will the bank refund any costs I incur in getting my documents certified?
Unfortunately, we will not be refunding any costs associated with the certification of the required documentation. This documentation is required by us in order to operate your account(s).
You can take the documents to:
- any authorised Royal Bank of Scotland or NatWest employee
- a Lawyer*
- an Advocate or Notary Public*
- an Accountant*
- a Director, Manager, or Officer of a Regulated Financial Services Business in a well regulated Jurisdiction
- a Bank Manager of a licensed, regulated bank
- a Company Secretary*
- a Senior Civil Servant
- a member of the Judiciary
- a Serving Police Officer or Serving Customs Officer provided they are not in a high risk jurisdiction
to have the copies certified using the Pro-forma Certification Forms within sections E and F of the Customer Information Pack.
