How does approving my transaction in my app work?
If we ask you to approve a transaction when you’re shopping online, there are a few steps you’ll need to follow:
- Make sure you are using the latest version of our mobile app
- If you've got notifications turned on, tap the notification to go straight to the app
- Log in to our mobile app
- Tap the ‘Approve a transaction’ tab at the top of the home screen
- Use your face ID, fingerprint or passcode to confirm your identity
- Approve or decline the transaction
Common error messages received when approving an online transaction
- Error message "Something's gone wrong"
- Error message "App approval is not complete"
- Error message "Your approval has expired"
