Is there a limit for payments made using a contactless card?

The maximum amount that can be spent in a single contactless payment is £100 however individual retailer limits may apply. If you wish to make purchases of a higher amount, you can use your debit card to make a Chip & PIN transaction.

For security reasons, you'll occasionally be asked to enter your PIN when making a contactless payment. Simply use Chip and PIN as normal.
