What changes can I make?

You can easily manage your business account signatories using our mandate forms below. You can:

  • Add or remove signatories
  • Update details for existing signatories
  • Change the signing rules for your account

To avoid any delays, please choose the correct form for your business or organisation.

Tips for completing a mandate form

When filling out the mandate form, please follow these steps:

  • Use black ink when signing the form.
  • If you need to make any changes after printing, just use black ink and initial any updates.
  • Don't shorten, abbreviate or change your business or trading name.

If you're adding or changing a signature, we'll need:

  • Photo ID, like a passport or driving licence.
  • Proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement.

How to download a mandate

To avoid any delays, please choose the correct form(s) for your business or organisation.

Important: Adding signatories to your account mandate does not automatically give them a debit card or online banking access. If they need these services, separate application forms must be completed. You’ll find the relevant forms below (where applicable for your account type).

To add, change, or remove signatories for a Sole Trader: 

 

Step 1: Please complete the Sole Trader Mandate,

Step 2: If the new signatory needs a debit card, complete: 

Business debit card application (PDF, 2.3 MB)

Step 3: If they need online banking access, complete: 

Online banking application for Sole Traders (PDF, 543 KB)

(Submit a separate form for each person needing access)

Important:
New signatories will receive full access, which is not limited by the signing rules in your mandate.

Once you’re ready, please print and sign the completed mandate(s). You can post, or take these along with the necessary documents to your nearest branch. Please mark this for the attention of the Business Banking Amendments Team.
