How to use Telephone banking
It's easy to use Telephone banking to check your balance, make transfers and payments.
You’ll only be able to use Telephone banking after you have registered for the service. You will need your Customer Number, PIN and Password, and the service may be limited if you haven’t ordered and enabled a card reader.
Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm except public holidays. Outside of these hours, please call 0370 600 0459 (+44 1268 500 813 from outside the UK). Calls may be recorded.
If your debit card is lost or stolen, you can still access your cash using Telephone banking.
Call Telephone banking and follow the options to speak to a customer adviser.
The adviser will cancel your card, and then ask you some security questions.
If you are registered for Online banking or Telephone banking, the adviser may be able to generate an Emergency cash code for you. This will allow you to withdraw your cash from an ATM if required.
You can access up to £300 if you are an Online or Telephone banking customer or up to £40 if you're not. You’ll need to have a minimum of £20 in your account to use this service.
The adviser will give you a six digit code that you can enter at any NatWest International, NatWest, RBS, Isle of Man Bank, Ulster Bank or Tesco Bank ATMs. The code must be used within 3 hours.
