To ensure a smooth and timely transaction for our customers, we’ve recently updated our processes. Before proceeding with your instruction, please take a moment to review the changes as outlined below.
This step is important to prevent any issues that could cause delays in completing the transaction. By familiarising yourself with the updated requirements, you’ll help us maintain an efficient process and deliver the best experience for our customers.
- Mortgage Reference Format: Mortgage reference numbers will now follow the format 65XXXXXX.
- Instruction Delivery: Our Instructions will be sent to the email address advised by your firm, the format of the emails will look different to our previous instructions.
- Post-Offer Support: Should you have any queries or require any assistance with the case, please email nwisolicitorscots@rbs.co.uk.
- Funds Release: Funds will be released one working day prior to completion and will only be released to the firm the Bank has instructed.

In this section, you'll find information and documents you require to progress a standard mortgage transaction with us on Jersey. There are also documents which will only be required in certain circumstances.
You should refer to our General instructions in conjunction with the documents we will issue when instructing you. When instructing you we will advise how and when you should return the completed documents to us.

All new NatWest International mortgages must be completed in the name of The Royal Bank of Scotland International Limited trading as NatWest International.
Please note that these forms are provided only for you to complete the appropriate transaction specific information online and to subsequently print off on a case-by-case basis. In order that the Bank can ensure that you are using the most up-to-date version in each transaction in which you are instructed, you are NOT permitted to save these documents to your own systems and unauthorised alterations are forbidden.
On a delayed completion, when and how is the advance to be returned?
Mortgage Centre, by CHAPS within one working day of receipt to:

to arrive no later than the working day following the scheduled completion date. You must ensure all funds released to you, including the funds in respect of payment of your conveyancer’s fees are returned with the mortgage advance if completion is delayed.
