Switch your account to NatWest International
The Current Account Switch Service makes switching current accounts from one UK bank or building society to another simple, reliable and stress-free.
The service is available to consumers and small businesses, charities and trusts and allows you to choose a switch date that suits you.
The Current Account Switch Service is not available for accounts held in Gibraltar.
What happens when you switch?
The switching process will not begin until your business current account has been opened which can take up to 60 days to complete.
This service is only available to switch current account products. Any other products you have with your old bank will not be moved at the same time.
Day 1
The Current Account Switch Service will contact your old bank and confirm if the switch can go ahead.
Once it's confirmed, your 7-day switch will start.
Day 3
Your regular payments such as Direct Debits and standing orders will be moved across.
Day 6
We'll talk to your old bank about transferring your balance over to your new account.
Day 7
The balance from your old account will be transferred to your new account.
Your new account will be ready to use and your old account will be closed.
What switch options are available?
