Apple Pay

A new way to pay with your Natwest International debit card

What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is the new, easy and secure way to pay using an eligible NatWest International debit card and an Apple device.

  • Make contactless payments in shops
  • Pay with a single touch within apps
  • Use Apple Pay to make online purchases

There is no set limit for how much can be spent using Apple Pay, although retailers may apply contactless limits. Some retailers however may accept Apple Pay transactions for larger amounts.

How do I set up Apple Pay?

You can start using Apple Pay as soon as you have added your first debit card to the Wallet app on your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch. Here's how to add a NatWest International card to Apple Pay.

Pay securely with Apple Pay

Apple Pay is a secure way to pay, you authorise each purchase with Touch ID, Face ID or your passcode.

Your card number and identity aren’t shared with the retailer, and your actual card numbers aren’t stored on your device or on Apple servers.

We'll help you to protect yourself

We take security very seriously and, provided you take the same level of protection as you would for your debit card, we'll offer you the same protection against fraud when you use Apple Pay.

What if your device is lost or stolen?

If your device is lost or stolen, you can go to or call our dedicated centre to suspend or permanently remove the ability to pay from that device with Apple Pay.

No further transactions can take place using Apple Pay, but you will still be able to use your cards as usual in shops, online and at cash machines.
