What you need to know about making a claim

Before you call

Having these details ready before you call will help the claims team process your claim quicker.

  • Your Premier Insurance Policy Reference number But don't worry if you can't find it.
  • Details We'll take time to understand the detail of your claim. The more details you can give us the quicker we can get your claim processed
  • Documents We may ask to see photos, quotes, invoices or receipts. We'll let you know what we need and how you can send them to us.

Next steps after your call

Your dedicated Claims Hander will manage the entire process, liaising with 3rd parties if necessary. We will provide you with updates on your claim's progress whenever you need them.

Documents you will need

If we asked you for documents, we may be able to validate your claim based on the information you've sent us. We'll settle your claim via a repair, replacement item(s) or a cash payment.

Third party involvement

If a third party is liable for your damage or loss, we will look to recover costs of the claim from the other side, including any excess you may have paid.
