ibanking app is now available globally

The new ibanking app has been developed to help you to stay on top of your finances, giving you access to your sterling and currency accounts with a single log-in.

The app is available to customers with a personal or business account in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Gibraltar and can be downloaded from any Apple App Store. Registration is quick and simple - all you need is your Online Banking customer number and your partial PIN and password.

Once registered you will have access to the accounts you manage within Online Banking. Currency accounts can be added after registration - all you'll need to know is your sorting code and account number.

Features and benefits

Currency & sterling accounts

For the first time you can add your currency accounts so you can view both your sterling and currency accounts via a mobile banking app.

Make payments

Pay your friends, family, credit card or bills - just set up and make your first payment to each new payee in Online Banking beforehand.

Make transfers

Transfer funds between your accounts displayed within Online Banking. Transfers involving currency accounts will be available in a future release.

Transaction History

You can view between two and seven years worth of transactions depending on your account type.

Take a tour

Download the app from the App Store and take a tour of the ibanking app features from the login screen.

Who can use this service?

To use the ibanking app you need to be a NatWest Online Banking customer with a personal or business account held in the Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Gibraltar.

All you need to register for the app, which is available on any Apple Store, is your Online Banking PIN and password. You will not be asked for any ibanking desktop security details during the registration process. Your details will be verified and you’ll be able to start using the app within minutes.

How to register for the ibanking app

Once you've downloaded the app from any Apple App Store registering is simple:

  • Read and accept the Terms & Conditions
  • Choose a passcode between five and eight digits long
  • Enter the requested digits from the PIN and password you use to log in to Online Banking

Your details will be verified and you'll be able to start using the app within minutes.

How to cancel the service

You can cancel the service at any time by deleting the application from your iPad.

Do I get charged for using this app?

NatWest do not charge you for using the app. However, standard network charges may apply. Please refer to your network provider for their charges.
