Quick and easy ways to pay and receive money

Transfer money between your accounts
Quickly send money between your own accounts using the mobile app.

Transferring money between your accounts is easy:

1. Simply log in and select the account you wish to make the transfer from.

2. Select 'Make a transfer'

3. Choose which account you want to make the transfer to

4. Enter the amount you wish to transfer

5. Select to 'send now' or 'send later'

6. Click 'Continue' on iPhone or 'Next' on Android - You will then be shown a confirmation screen

7. Select 'Make transfer' to continue - you will then be shown a confirmation screen

Forgot to pay the water bill? You can do it straight from your app
Our app contains a list of the most popular & frequently used utility, local authority & credit card companies.

Now you don't need to enter the company's account details, just type the name and we will pre-populate this information for you. You just need your reference number to hand.

How to pay a bill:


1. Simply log in and select your current account.

2. Select 'Pay'

3. Select 'Make a payment'

4. Click on 'Select payee'

5. Tap 'Pay someone new' (top of screen)

6. Type the name of the company you wish to pay and select the correct option from our list
7. Add a reference and the amount
8. Once confirmed payments are normally received within 2 hours

You must be aged over 16. Limits apply.

Make instant payments of up to £1,000 without a card reader
Need to pay a friend or the electrician? Securely pay up to £1,000 with just an account number and sort code.

To pay someone new:

1. Simply log in and select your current account.

2. Select 'Pay'

3. Select 'Make a payment'

4. Click on 'Select payee'

5. Tap 'Pay someone new' (top of screen)

6. Enter the payee name and account details

7. Choose a reference and confirm your payment amount


Payees created for payments under £1,000 can be saved on the app and will also show in your Online Banking for future use. When making the first payment in online banking for over £1,000 a card-reader will be required. You must be aged 16 or over and there is a maximum of 5 payments totalling £1,000 per day.


For security reasons, we'll sometimes ask you to authorise a payment with your fingerprint, Face ID or your app passcode.

Withdraw cash without a card
Forgotten your debit card? No problem - you can still take cash out with our app.

You can use a maximum of two codes to withdraw up to £130 every 24 hours. Each code lasts 3 hours but only one is valid at a time. If the code expires, the money requested will go back into your account within 24 hours.

How to use Get Cash:

1. Open the app and tap ‘Get Cash’
2. Select how much you’d like to withdraw (up to £130)
3. Click ‘Next’ and we’ll give you a secure code to enter at any NatWest International, Isle of Man  Bank, NatWest or Tesco cash machine
4. You must have at least £10 available funds to withdraw (including any overdraft facility) and an active debit card for your account

Saved payees

Pay a saved payee in just a few taps
Already paid someone via online banking with your card reader? Their details will be saved in your banking app for quick access the next time you want to make a payment.

Just choose the account you'd like to make the payment from, then select 'Payments', 'Make a payment', 'Choose payee' and scroll through the names to select the correct person, type the amount and click send now. The money will leave your account instantly.

Once the payment is made you have the option to share a PDF payment confirmation via email, save to your Cloud/Phone or print directly from the app.

Got multiple businesses?

You can manage and add multiple businesses via the one app.

Simply log into your app, go to the Profile menu at the top right hand corner of your screen and select ‘Add business’ – you will then be prompted to enter the online banking customer number and requested security details from your online Banking service for each business you're adding.

Automatic Payments

No need to queue in branch to manage your direct debits and standing orders
Set up, amend and cancel your standing orders and direct debits using your banking app.

Open up the mobile app, select your current account and then tap 'Standing orders'  to set up standing orders to saved payees or between your own accounts. You can view the status of your regular payments, check and amend the details, keep an eye on the next payment date and cancel future payments.


  • To amend or cancel a standing order from within the mobile app you must give two working days notice
  • To cancel a Direct Debit from within the mobile app you have up until 8.20pm (UK time) on the day the payment is due. At or after 8.20pm (UK time), the payment due on that day will have been taken and we will not be able to retrieve it

Set up payments or transfers to leave on a future date
Need to make a payment next week or even next month but worried you might forget to send it? Set it up now leave your account on a sepcific date in the future.

Setting up a payment or transfer to leave on a specific future date is easy and can be done through the mobile app. Simply follow these steps:

1. Select the account you want the money to leave from

2. Select 'Pay' or 'Transfer'

3. Select the account you want to transfer your money to 

4. or for payments to new or saved payees, select 'Make a payment', then 'Select Payee' and either select a saved payee or tap 'Pay somone new' to enter the payment details of the person you wish to pay

5. Select 'Send later' and enter the date you would like the transfer or payment to be made

6. Select 'Continue' and then tap 'Schedule payment/transfer' and that's the payment or transfer set up and good to go


Note that payments and transfers can not be scheduled to leave more than 120 days in the future.

Set up or cancel a standing order
You dont need to visit a branch to cancel a standing order, you can use your app.

If you’d like to see the standing orders you’ve got set up, choose the account they come out of and press ‘Standing Orders’. You’ll see them all listed. Then, if you’d like to amend or cancel one, click on it and tap the 'Amend' button at the top or the ‘Cancel’ button at the bottom. To set a new one up, press the ‘Create’ button at the top (iPhone) or bottom (Android) of the standing orders list.

To amend or cancel a standing order from within the mobile app you must give two working days’ notice.
