Mobile banking for iPhone

Managing your money on the move is now even easier

The NatWest mobile banking application for the iPhone makes it easier to manage your money, wherever you are. It’s free, secure and easy to use.

NatWest will not charge you for any mobile banking services, however, your mobile phone network operator may charge for certain services. Additional overseas network charges may apply for all networks. Please check with your network provider.

The iPhone app is available to customers who:

  • are registered for NatWest Online banking offshore
  • have a NatWest personal account offshore with a debit card
  • are age 16 or over and have a mobile phone number prefixed by 07

Mini statements

See your last six transactions for all your accounts that you manage using Online banking.

Payments

Pay your friends, family, credit card or utility bills - just set up and make your first payment to each new payee in Online banking beforehand.

Transfers

Move money between your accounts. Transfers are processed immediately and your balances are updated.

Alerts

Set up mobile banking alerts to help you manage your account. You can:

  • Select a day and time to receive your weekly balance alert
  • Get limit alerts when your balance goes below or above a set amount

Alerts apply to the account you nominated during registration.

Search for branches and cash machines

Search your current location or input an address to locate:

  • NatWest cash machines
  • NatWest branches

Mobile top-ups

  • Top up your family’s UK pay-as-you-go mobiles
  • Add up to five different UK mobile phones
  • Available on all major UK mobile networks however please note you will not be able to top up phones on the 3 network.

Top up payments will be taken from the account linked to your debit card used during registration.

NatWest will not charge you for any mobile banking services, however, your mobile phone network operator may charge for certain services.

Text messages

Your network operator may charge you for receiving a text alert from us or for sending a mobile text message to us.

Data charges for using mobile phone banking

Standard data download charges may apply. Additional overseas network charges may apply for all networks. Please contact your network operator for details.

Mobile phone top up charges

Mobile phone top ups will be debited directly from your account linked to your debit card during registration and will be shown on your current account statement (service is only available on major UK mobile networks - you will not be able to top up phones on the 3 network).

Eligibility

To use the offshore version of the iPhone app you need to:

  • be a Online banking customer with accounts held in Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man
  • have a NatWest personal account offshore with a debit card
  • be over age 16 and have a mobile phone number prefixed by 07

If you have NatWest offshore mobile banking on another device, e.g. an Android phone, and have registered using the same mobile number you will lose service on that device.

To register

Registering for this service is easy and only takes a few minutes:

  • Download the new app from the App Store
  • Enter your mobile number and verify your handset
  • Accept the Terms and Conditions
  • Provide some personal information — including your Online banking customer number, debit card number, card security number and postcode

Once you register we’ll verify your details and you should be able to start using you new app within 24 hours.

How to cancel the service

You can cancel the service at any time by deleting the application from your mobile.

To cancel your text alerts set up through your app, turn alerts off within the app or Online banking.
