Mobile banking for Android users

Managing your money on the move is now even easier

We've listened to what you told us. That's why we have developed a mobile banking app for Android.

NatWest will not charge you for any mobile banking services, however, your mobile phone network operator may charge for certain services. Additional overseas network charges may apply for all networks. Please check with your network provider.

Mini statements

See your last six transactions for all your accounts that you manage using Online banking.

Payments

You can make payments with Mobile Banking, just set up and make your first payment to each new payee in Online Banking beforehand.

Transfers

Move money between your accounts. Transfers are processed immediately and your balances are updated.

Search for branches and cash machines

Search your current location or input an address to locate:

  • NatWest cash machines
  • NatWest branches

UK mobile phone top-ups

  • Top up your family’s UK pay-as-you-go mobiles
  • Add up to five different UK mobile phones
  • Available on all major UK mobile networks however please note you will not be able to top up phones on the 3 network.

Top up payments will be taken from the account linked to your debit card used during registration.

Eligibility

To use our Android app you need to:

  • be registered for NatWest offshore Online banking. Visit our Online banking section to register.
  • have a NatWest offshore personal account held in the Channels Islands or Isle of Man with a debit card.
  • be age 16 or over and have a mobile phone number starting 07.

Mobile banking is compatible for Android OS 2.1 or above.

If you have NatWest offshore mobile banking on another device, e.g. an iPhone, and have registered using the same mobile number you will lose service on that device.

To register

Registering for this service is easy and only takes a few minutes:

  • Download the new app from the Android Market
  • Enter your mobile number and follow the instructions on the app to verify your handset
  • Accept the Terms and Conditions
  • Provide some personal information - including your Online banking customer number, debit card number, card security number and postcode

For security reasons we recommend that you only download mobile apps from an official source such as the Android Market. Mobile banking for Android is only available on Android Market. For more information visit our mobile security page.

To complete the registration process, we’ll verify your details and send you a text message within 24 hours to let you know that you can start using the app.

If you have NatWest offshore mobile banking on another device, e.g. an iPhone, and have registered using the same mobile number you will lose service on that device.

How to cancel the service

You can cancel the service at any time by deleting the application from your device.
