Preparing for your appointment
Helping to plan for the future
We really want you to get the most from your Investment planning review. So, if you've got the time, it's a good idea to do a little planning of your own. But don’t worry – it's not compulsory.
You might like to think about:
- Your financial goals - do you want to plan for something in particular, have the potential for better returns than a standard bank deposit or prepare for your retirement?
- Your current finances - are you happy with the arrangements you have in place? Are you investing for income or capital growth? The more we know, the more we can help.
- What the future holds - is there any future event (such as starting your own business or receiving an inheritance) that could have an impact on your plans?
It's also useful if you have available information on any investments or pension plans you have at the moment. This could include:
- Bank and building society account statements or passbooks
- Certificates for any investments or shares you hold
- Details of any pension scheme you're a member of
- Details of any personal pensions you have
Don't worry if you can’t get hold of these documents. We'll explain everything when you call to make your appointment.
