It's easy to apply for ibanking.

What you'll need to apply

If you've got a NatWest account (and you're over 16) you can download and print the ibanking application form (PDF, 967KB).

The completed and signed form should be sent to our Customer Services Team at:

British Isles

We'll post your activation code and ibanking customer number to your home address. When you go online to activate the service, you'll be asked to choose a PIN and password.

Then you're ready to bank online.

ibanking plus - where extra security comes as standard

If you wish to make express sterling and international payments you should apply for ibanking Plus.

We'll send you a smart card and card reader giving you an extra layer of security by authenticating your payments.

Once received, you shall require to unlock your card reader and select a smart card PIN by calling +44 (0) 1534 282880. Lines are open: Mon to Fri
